‘Nouraddin, the Son of Iran’ to be produced by IRGC

TEHRAN, May 4 (MNA) – The producer of ‘Nouraddin, the Son of Iran’ has said Nouraddin Mafi himself supervises on writing screenplay of the film.

Alireza Davari, producer told Mehr News that Sacred Defense Cinematic Town and Kurdistan would be the locations for the film. “The screenplay for the series is written by Bijan Hamdarsi. The series was supposed to be broadcasted by IRIB Channel 5 in seven episodes, but apparently a long scenario would add to the episodes up to 13 episodes,” he added.

“Mr. Nouraddin Mafi himself supervises over the screenplay writing based on his book with the name of the movie. The book narrates the story of a 16-year-old boy who goes to war and serves as commander of a platoon of divers during the war in Ashoura Division 31,” Davari said.

“We are now negotiating with friends in IRGC to use the valuable information of relevant individuals which would contribute to the narrative,” he added, and that “we will have famous male artists such as Hamed Behdad, Mohammad Saleh Ala, Atila Pesyani, Masoud Foroutan, Pejman Bazeqi, etc. to narrate the story, which is a combination of narrative and animation.”
